Silver Screen Ball

Well, the last few weeks have just flown by! Nothing too exciting has been going on, just work, school, and baseball! Zack has been announcing the LCU baseball games, so he travels quite a bit with them and then is always at the games when they are home.

Last weekend we were in Ft. Worth to watch them play Texas Wesleyan. It was a really nice weekend because we stayed with one of my best friends from high school, Sarah and her husband, Brad. They just built a new house and we were some of their first guests! I didn't do anything, but watch baseball and eat really good food...it was great.

This weekend, we went to see Vantage Point. It was a really good movie. I am a huge Dennis Quaid fan, so I was excited to see that it was good, the last few I've seen haven't been great. Anyway, Saturday, we went to the Silver Screen Ball, a fundraiser for the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts. Zack's aunt, Karen, is the director of the center and invited us to go. We had dinner across the street and then went in a limo ride to the center. They had a silent auction, dance hall, band, and a ton of food. It was a lot of fun. Zack and I aren't night owls so by 10 p.m. we were ready to call it a night. :) Oh well, it was so fun to get dressed up! Here are a couple of pictures from us at dinner.
