Precious Babies

Zack and I went to the grocery store tonight. On the way home, we noticed a lady walking and holding a 2 year old little boy. Now having a 18 pound child, I told Zack, "look at that poor lady, I wonder if she needs a ride." So we pulled over and asked if she needed us to give her a ride somewhere. I looked down and neither her nor her little boy had shoes on. She was planning to walk from 82nd & Quaker to 35th & Q! Anyway, she got in the car, we started driving. She said, "thank you so much, I had a fight with my husband last night, I left, went to the bar with my friend, got drunk, then my friend ditched me and I'm not calling my husband to get me"--all while she had her 2 year old son with her. We didn't say much to that, just that we were glad to help out. I told her that her little boy was just precious, she said, "you want him? I'm never having anymore!" I was a little surprised by her seriousness...I think if I said leave him here, she might have.

She got out the car and Zack and I were just so sad. This precious little boy! I know children are neglected and mistreated often. It breaks my heart, so tonight, please pray for these precious babies.

Just A Few Pictures!

I was looking for a photographer to take wedding pictures for a friend of mine (I'm a bridesmaid, it's my job :)). I ran across Whimsy Photography. Their pictures were adorable. So, even though they weren't the ones for the wedding, I decided to give them a try for Bella's 6 month pictures. They came out so great! If you need pictures, try them! They are so talented. First Easter

Sierra Bella had her first Easter and it was a lot of fun. We didn't do much, just had lunch and dinner with family. Of course, Bella was the center of attention and got a BILLION stuffed bunnies! :) She had fun playing with all of her new toys. It was a great day.

The New House!

Our new house is coming up quickly. I'm a little stressed, I need to sell my house. :) Anyway, we are excited...here are some pictures of our new home.

Road Trip!

My sister, Sierra Bella, and I took a road trip recently. We went to Dallas to just hang out. It was fun, but a little crazy traveling with a 6 month old. She did well for the most part. We went to a Rangers game, ate out ALOT, and visited with friends.

We are having a great time, just rolling along with work and life! Sierra Bella is now 6 months old. We go for shots next week. :( I dread them! I'm loving being a mom more than I ever imagined I would, she's so fun..I'm just in love! :) Sierra Bella loves to talk (LOUDLY) and be with mom and dad. She loves her bouncer and swing. She just started to notice the dogs and yells at them often. She has learned to give kisses. Her favorite thing is to grab EVERYTHING in sight. It's a blast at our house lately.
